Safe Zone
The carpark is a safe zone

All mags out – including Pistols
Safeties on and pistols holstered
Treat all guns with respect as they come under firearms laws.
No silly behaviour anywhere
Use the firing range to see examples of distances to understand MEDs.
Goggles must be worn at all times once on the playing field or in the firing range
Marshalls
Players must follow instructions of Marshalls at ALL TIMES. If there are any problems in-game, players should talk to a Marshall immediately
If a player has a problem with a Marshall they should find another Marshall
Sportsmanship
Put downs, racism, swearing, negative comments and retaliation have no place in our club.
Keep calm and respect all players.
Call ALL hits (demonstrate a loud hit call, counting 10 and calling live).
Dead men don’t talk or give away the position of enemy players.
Fair play, honour and integrity for all TAR players (Matt Van der Lee).
Fire Selection
Learn to shoot on semi-auto which encourages you to acquire your target, full auto should not be used as a default especially at close quarters.
No blind firing.

Game Calls
“Eyes”
call is game pause, stay where you are until instructed otherwise.
Everyone repeats game calls:
Game On, Game Off, Eyes.

Never take your goggles off. If you have fogging or a malfunction, tell someone.
Leaving Field of Play
If you need to leave mid-game, tell someone where you are going.
Before crossing the bridge into the safe zone: mags out, clear weapon, safeties on.
First Aiders
Identify all first aiders, note there are two First Aid kits with club gear.
Health and Safety
Stay inside play area, keep away from livestock. Do not enter streams or rivers.
No smoking in the game area as this is a fire risk.
Careful when climbing fences which may be live.
Make sure all gates are closed at the end of the day.
Respect the farm which we are privileged to use.
